You all probably know by now that I love my Sunday hunt for the best kindle book deals. During the last few weeks, I have been very into character-driven novels and so it was a welcome surprise when I saw the deal of the day options today! All of these books dive into family and/or relationship dynamics and are amazing books to read and discuss with a friend or book club group…enjoy!!

All My Mother’s Lovers by Ilana Masad
One of my favorite things about this time of this year is thinking about all the summer reading I have planned. While this summer will look much different than years past, the great things about books are that you can read them wherever you are, even if you are “vacationing” in your very own backyard.
Beach reading means something different for everyone, but for me, it consists of books that are totally engaging but also have enough depth to not be total fluff. I also like to have a mix of genres and topics…a little mystery and intrigue, some drama and maybe a little bit of romance thrown in. While I am totally in for an escapist reading ride now and then, I also like a few that make me think, connect, and learn.
I have had a few reading flops during the last few weeks so I was excited to log on and see some of my favorite books were Kindle Deals today! These were both 5-star reads for me and while they are on the opposites ends of the reading spectrum, they are both ones I recommend all the time!

Happenings Since May…
So much has happened since May and it is hard to believe it was just a couple of weeks ago. You can read more about what I have been doing to incorporate more diverse reading and listening through podcasts and audiobooks in my recent blog posts HERE & HERE.
In addition, I have been trying to find a posting rhythm again on here, basically since March…I didn’t realize how much my daily routines added to my ability to accomplish all the little things. Being home with the kids has thrown that all to the wind and there is not any sense of order coming anytime soon so I think I need to find some new routines!
